Brewery: Hornbeer Type: Barley Wine

One of my first barley wines.  Pours a nice reddish color with a white quickly diminishing head.  Smells of sour cherries and dark fruit. It is a bit sour due to the cherries in the recipe. Really interesting taste that is almost like a very sweet white wine mixed with a quite sour kriek beer. Supposedly this counts as a christmas beer so i will take it. Pretty refreshing but packs a big punch.
