Had this beer for session beer day. Had to hunt through my collection of beers for quite awhile to find one at session strength (I am a big beer fan). But I finally found this baltic porter from Germany to fit the bill. Wether it was worth it...that is another story.
This beer pours a pretty light color for a porter, that was warning one. Not a lot of head. The aroma is weird, pretty sweet and metallic...warning number two. OH MY GOD the taste. It is like a mouthful of sugar with a little roasted barley soaked in. It reminds me of tasting pre fermented wort without any hop additions. Not going to bother to talk about this anymore...just horrible.
