I missed out on this one last time it was on tap at my favorite beer bar. So when I saw it come back I had to have some, I mean who passes up a beer called Wookiee IPA? Pours a beautiful hazy yellow color with a huge lingering head. The smell is outstanding, big piney earthy hops with a touch of citrus. The hops smell is just incredible, I caught myself closing my eyes and smiling in a crowded bar. The taste does not disappoint at all. Nice grassy and pine undertones dominated by a big bitter citrusy hop burst. This is just a great IPA, great balance and just an absolute showcase of awesome American hops.
