German Beer Week

Just yesterday i participated in a time honored Danish tradition of driving down to the German border and loading up on cheap stuff.

Taxes are really high in Denmark (25% sales tax). This makes things like beer and soda especially expensive. The German border is only a few hours drive for most Danes. There are huge shops set up just over the border to take advantage of lower German prices and the thousands of Danes who come to load their cars up with cheap stuff. So in celebration of all the pilgrimages I have made to buy beer at the border I am going to do a week of German beer reviews, beers I bought at the border.
